Educational Psychology Club Celebrates the International Day of Sign Languages

The Educational Psychology Club at the College of Education, Kuwait University, celebrated the International Day of Sign Languages with an awareness event. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Nasser Najaf Hassan. It aimed to raise awareness of sign language and promote inclusion for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

The event featured Mr. Bader Abdullatif Al-Doukhi, Dr. Jannah Al-Khalifa, and Mr. Jaber Al-Kandari. Mr. Al-Kandari is a sign language trainer and a member of the Deaf community. The speakers shared useful information about sign language and effective communication.

Participants learned why sign language is important. They also learned how it helps Deaf people communicate and take part in daily life. The speakers explained that good communication supports equal opportunities and social participation.
