Enhancing Digital Teaching and Assessment

The College of Education at Kuwait University continues to support faculty development. It also encourages the use of digital tools in teaching and assessment.

To support these efforts, the Educational Technology Department and the Center for Teaching Development organized an Attend-Class.com workshop. The workshop took place on July 13, 2026, in Meeting Room 4025 at the College of Education – South Building.

The workshop introduced faculty members to the Attend-Class.com Platform. Participants learned how the platform can support teaching, learning, and course management.

Learning the Main Features of Attend-Class.com

The workshop focused on the main tools available on the Attend-Class.com Platform.

Faculty members learned how to create electronic and paper-based exams. They also learned how to record attendance, track absences, and manage grades.

The training introduced the Peer Assessment feature. This tool allows students to take part in assessment activities and support collaborative learning.

Participants took part in demonstrations and practical exercises. These activities helped them understand how to use the platform in university courses.

Practical Training and Hands-On Experience

The workshop included practical activities using the Attend-Class.com Platform.

Participants explored the platform step by step. They learned how to set up classes, manage course information, and organize assessment tasks.

Faculty members also discussed common questions about digital learning and course management. They shared ideas and experiences related to teaching and assessment.

The platform helps instructors monitor student progress. It also helps them organize grades and attendance records. These features save time and make course management easier.

The training showed how digital tools can support communication and improve the learning experience for students.

Supporting Innovation in Higher Education

This workshop is part of a series of training programs organized by the Educational Technology Department and the Center for Teaching Development.
